This is a game that we have been playing with Cade for a while now. He loves his bed and is always happy when you put him in there. He lies there and plays with his bumper for ages before he falls asleep. One game I play and the girls have caught on too, is we get on our haunches and peep under the bumper and play peek-a-boo! He absolutely loves it and I wish you could hear the giggles.

We are still working on editing our videa that we take. We have had a frustrating time with the software we need to edit our cds. We are rapidly running out of disc space so we need to do something quick!

Love you all and have a wonderful New Year!

Here are some photos of the kids after Christmas Day. Cade is playing with his toys and sitting like such a big boy. Becca is reading one of her Nancy Drew books we bought for her and Hannah is Doodling on her "Doodle Bear". A doodle bear is a little bear that you can draw on and then wash. This all she wanted for Christmas. God truly provided for us this year and the girls and Cade were blessed out of their socks! Thank you to everyone who contributed to that!

Hannah performing as usual for the camera. This all happened without my knowing. Hannah thought that the bun she created in her hair was cute, so she asked Becca to take some photos of her. Where did we find her?

These are some photos that were taken yesterday (Christmas day 2006) . I think that they are the first family photos we have taken since Cayden was born. Becca is 9, Hannah is almost 8 and Cade is 7 months.

Merry Christmas to all! Can you believe Christmas has come and gone. We had a wonderful day of family, friends, gifts and good food. We started our day with Steve and I waking up first like little children at the crazy hour of 5:45am. We lay there dumb founded that we were awake and our children weren't. Needless to say that it was not long after that that we heard little Hannah come through. The rest followed. We opened our gifts and had some breakfast and went to friends in Oak Park (a suburb close by). Dave and Kathy and their parents Ina and Kallie opened up there home and family time and shared their day with us! We opened some more gifts and shared a wonderful meal and then watched ELF!! It was an awesome day.

As much as we celebrated, tears were also shed for all of you far away. I took strain as my mind kept wondering what you all were doing and how you were celebrating your day. Lindsay, my heart broke today talking to you. I miss you so much!

Anyway, it is late and I need to go to bed. Merry Christmas and a very happy new year.

Hi

These are photos of Cade out today for a walk. It was about -20 c Cade has a cover over him that protects him from the wind and the rain. The photos of the house are so that you can see how people decorate their homes and their gardens.

A quick story......my friend Kathy's brother was attacked by a shark yesterday. He was apparently fushing below knee deep water and caught a ragged tooth. As he was pulling it to shore to get the stats on it, it turned on him and bit him. It missed the artery by a couple of inches and he had to have 70 stitches. Quite something hey? All is well though and he is fine. A close call.

Here are some sweet and precious friends! The two of the ladies sleeping are from Thanksgiving. The bottle next to Zoe is just a joke...it was sparkling grape juice anyway!!!! Look closely at the bottle. It is tradition in many American homes to have a nap after thanksgiving lunch, as well as watching football all afternoon and then eating some more delicios food.

We had a meeting last night in our home for some homegroup training. A South African couple from Summerset West are visiting and I took some photos of the evening. The kiddies had a picnin on the floor and had great fun! These are the joys of apartment living in the winter in Chicago. There is no where to go. It reminds me of the nights we had training in SOuth Africa where there were about a million kids all needing to sleep at the same time!!! And then someone actually forgot their child and went home. STeve and I nearly did not have a place to sleep that night!

Love to all

Hi

For those who are going onto this site, I really hope that you are enjoying it. I am certainly enjoying keeping it updated. Some friends and Steve has said that I am going a bit camera crazy, but it is all for you! Here are some photos I took at worship and prayer the other night.

I can sit

I took these pictures of Cade this morning. He is very proud of himself as sitting is getting easier and easier as the days go on. His two top teeth are through and I think that the worst is over. He is still not quite himself though.

Becca and Hannah are both doing projects at the moment. Becca is working on a science project determining which detergent cleans better, powder or liquid and Hannah is doing a project on a armadillo. Steve and I love working with them as it is good quality time with them.

Steve is off praying so I have a long list of things to do so I better go......
